ZIP! #1     MATERIALS: Water - (H+ OH-), sodium bicarbonate (Na HCO3).

PROCEDURE:

a. Place approx. 1 tablespoons of sodium bicarbonate in the zip lock bag.

b. add approx. 20 ml of water to the bag and quickly seal the bag with the zipper.

 

ZIP! #2     MATERIALS: water - (H+ OH-), sodium hydroxide - (Na OH).

PROCEDURE:

a. Place approx. 1 tablespoons of sodium hydroxide in a small plastic bag.
b. add approx. 10 ml of water to the bag and quickly seal the bag with the zipper.

 

ZIP!#3      MATERIALS: sodium bicarbonate (Na HCO3),  vinegar (CH3COOH - Acetic Acid).
PROCEDURE:

  1. Place approx. 1 tablespoons of Sodium bicarbonate in a zip lock bag.
  2. add approx. 10-20 ml of vinegar to the bag and quickly seal the bag with the zipper.
